Born and raised in Faisalabad, Pakistan, I moved to the United States with my family in 1998.I completed my Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History at the University of Connecticut (UConn).I also completed a Master’s degree in Education at UConn and taught United States History, Ancient Roman History, Ancient World Civilisations, and Civics for four years in Hartford, CT. Last year, I taught at the CT International Baccalaureate Academy in East Hartford, CT focusing primarily on world history.I am excited to return to the classroom as a student and to be challenged with new ideas and a more in-depth knowledge of world history.
